My daughter is two years old and since she was a baby she’s spent many nights at her grandparent’s house. When she was smaller, it was easy for her to sleep in the extra pack and play they have. It’s becoming a very tight squeeze in present time. She has grown significantly and can climb right out of the pack and play with no hesitation.
Needless to say, I found myself searching for an alternative. I knew I wanted a sleeping solution that was easy for my parents to set up and take down. I also wanted one that wouldn’t have to sit out all the time like a traditional toddler bed.
I came across some cool Pinterest hacks about converting a pack and play into a toddler bed. I loved that idea and I am all about up cycling, but it simply wasn’t going to work for my needs. I wanted to keep my pack and play in case my husband and I decide to have more kids. So my search continued.
While surfing the web for solutions, I came across the Regalo My Cot Portable Bed. It comes in blue or pink and is under $25. It also folds up in less than a minute and can be stored in a closet without taking up any more space than a folding chair.
